Project Location : – Baghdad province – Al-Mahmudiya district.

Contract Value :- (58,000,000,000) IQD.

Project Description: – The project is located in Al-Mahmudiya district which belongs to Baghdad province on an area of (200,000) m2 and it is dedicated for (140,000) people with a capacity of (2000) m3/hr. whereas the sewage are processed and turned into irrigation water.

The project consists of the following:

– Ventilation basins No.2

– Sedimentation basins No.4

– Thickening basins No.2

– Distribution basins No.5

– Drying basins No.50

– Building of mutual pumping station.

– Energy building.

– Chlorine building.

– Water inlet building.

– Administration building.

– Reversion building.

– Houses No.4 for engineers.

– Reception room.

Importing Procedure:-

Regarding the importing side of the project , the value of the imported materials reached to (7,365,080,000) IQD, whereas it included importing of ductile pipes with different dimensions with French origin from (PAM) company, and plastic and galvanized pipes with Turkish origin from (Samsun) company and complete mechanical equipment for the sewers station from Italian origin ,(Sireko) company, in addition to importing electrical equipment such as transformers , generators , lighting poles , cables and electric boards from European , Japanese and American origins exclusively , as well as importing a complete Fire system with Italian origin.
